Hmmmmm I'd rather spend the money on a set of cans and enjoy the engines music .......... Plus who wants that extra weight on the bars. |

I don't have any experience with bike speakers but the thought has crossed my mind. Earbuds always hurt under my helmet and aren't the safest option. Unfortunately, most the setups for music i have seen have been shoddy hanging off the front of a bling machine. So, I never really took the idea seriously. If you find a cool idea post it up. |

Honda makes a setup for the VTX series, might be adaptable to the 919. ![]() Part #:08A08-9H1-000 MSRP $399.95 Maybe not, looks like in the position shown it would block the guages and more, worth a look though. Not much more annoying that a motorcycle blasting tunes. Well, the cars going thumpa thump thump thumpa, they are more annoying. Earphones/earbugs/internal helmet speakers are valid options. Chatterbox looks pretty cool, alot of sport bikes add speakers but have the luxery to hide the speakers under the fairing. I use earbuds now only on long trip, last year I was on the bike for 12 hr stretches and would of gone nuts if I dident have some tunes now and agian. |

I bought a Scala Rider Q2 last month. It has a built in radio that picks up 2 of the 4 local rock stations. It also integrates with the iPod built into my iPhone. I rarely use it as I'd rather just listed to the exhaust note and my surroundings.
