919 Rear tail light mod.

OK im almost positive im going to do this. Our stock tail lights have 2 2 filament bulbs in them. For break and tail lights. This got me thinking, I have LED blinkers, and they are nice and all but i have always wanted a lil more in the visible blinking department. My idea is to wire up the tail lights as blinkers, Very similar to the running lights of the stock front blinkers. They would be always on when not signaling just like normal, but would blink with the blinkers when activated. I might even add a ring of leds with respective right n left side blinker actoin. we w ill see what i end up doing. But im going to do the blinker tail light combo. The wiring wouldnt be tough... just some simple diodes in the right place.

Ill update this post when i get to the actual work.

Thoughts n ideas welcome.

there's an easier way to do it. use this:

HONDA TAILLIGHT INTEGRATOR Blackbird 1100 XX Honda 919 : eBay Motors (item 130372568735 end time Mar-14-10 01:25:23 PST)

its basically just splice your wires to the unit, and then splice ur brake lights to the unit and it functions as brake/turn. i have 1 that i originally was going to use but then picked up rizmo's instead. still new in the package. i'll sell it to you for at cost. $15.00 shipped. interested?

you DO keep the stock look. its a little black box that fix in the palm of your hand that you splice into your harness. takes 3 minutes and you're done. your brake light acts as brake/signals.
