Those Pro-Tek footpegs. Did you get the ones for the CBR900RR? Are the rider and passenger the same?

The Ron Ayers (I mistaken wrote Knee Draggers in an earlier post) listing is for a 919/CB900F. The rider and passenger pegs are different. Note that I had to modify the passenger pegs to fit properly.

Damn. . .that Pyramid Plastics carbon fiber hugger came in. . .I might as well follow through to have it shipped. I'll mount it up along with the MBD belly pan that's sitting in the garage which I've been debating to put on.

Damn.

And then there will be the next mod...and the next one...and...

This winter I plan to ceramic coat my headers in a semi-gloss black finish, as well as powercoat a few more pieces. Didn't get my Rizoma bars and grips or Pazzo levers installed last night, that's today's project. Then maybe order up those foot pegs like yours, in black. Maybe change my rear shock and front fork springs. Then I'll be done

How did you have to modify the rear pegs?

They were long in the mounts so they had to be ground down to slip in and to align correctly. And, the bolt holes had to be enlarged. ---No biggee.

These pics should be self explanatory. The fabrication is very EZ. The DRC mini LED license plate light can be ordered from Wheeling Cycle Supply, http://www.wheelingcyclesupply.com/index.shtml. You'll have to ask for since its not listed on the web site.

Not to speak for 9nineteen, but it would appear to be the same integrated Clear Alternatives taillight that I have on my bike.

Finally. . .got my triple clamps

Bill at Full Throttle did a nice job of fabricating the top triple and mating it to the 929/954 bottom triple. The 919 steering stem and headlight bracket support frame were adapted. I'll be finishing up the fabrication to attach the OEM gauges to the top triple. It'll be at least a couple of weeks before I can finish things up (been busy playing with the 748 Ducati also). Pre-assembly is the immediate plan, making sure things fit nicely. Once the whole front end is fitted to my satisfaction, the triples will be off for powdercoating for a nice satin black finish. Then the final assembly. . .

Once complete, that racy RC51 front end will be a nice compliment to the "lightened" rear end of my 9er. . .
