Man fly boy is back. Hopefully he can ride tomorrow big high side. Stoner is still having problems with fatigue and crashed also. This leave the Doctor to swoop in.

Yea, I hate 3 day weekends, the holiday fooked me royally. MisterMike, I gather that absentee picks means I will have the picks from last race? if so, not much harm done I guess even though with Lorenzo & Stoner's high-sides, who knows what will happen.

On the other side of the token... where in the hell are the races going to be televised? I checked with SuckTv and there is nothing there, then, I also checked with ABC Sports to no avail.

I may be able to catch them on the p2p.eu but I thought I give the TV a chance since it was going to be at a decent time... oh well, I also predict that Rossi will win it by a mile or he will bin it on the first few laps trying to escape.

Wow interesting race. .......To all of you that stuck with

Spoiler:

Lorenzo, kudos. If you are like me you thought he wouldn't even saddle up or bring it home in 10th. I've quietly been supporting Lorenzo all year and have mad respect for what he did today. I think if he didnt almost pitch it attempting to pass Rossi, he'da gotten around eventually him and made it stick.

And to those of you who had faith in Nicky kudos again. I just didn't think he'd place so well. I certainly didn't think he'd get around Elias, who looked so promising all weekend. Dovi's wipeout helped nicky but he was ahead of the second pack which is really where he SHOULD be right now. I hope this wasn't just a "Laguna" thing and that he places well again before they come home......again.

And where the heck did Dani's little sprint come from? The race wasn't as close as it finished. He dominated.

Nobody scored alotta points here which is cool with me cause I only got 4!!!!!!!!!

HOllllyyyyyy Crap, I guess I should be extremely happy that even after missing that snooze fest, I am still within reach of Pops Jimbo.

First of all, Fox sports was no where to be found in my area, at 5PM the local Fox channel had news (to be expected), the fox sports channels had something else not even remotely close to motorcycle racing and nothing on their programming schedule of this race... how fooked up is that????

Then, my p2p.eu client was on the fritz and I my live transmission was stuttering so bad I had to relent and turn it off. to top it all off, I am looking for any links to rapidshare, mms or torrents and one of the fookers on the link clearly tells the whole world who has won the race and who the other 2 on the podium were... Why would you do that?

I gotta give it up for the Turd-Midget, not in a million years would I have thought he had it in him to beat Rossi, Lorenzo or even Stoner in Laguna.

I also gotta give it up for my boy Nicky, sure Dovizioso waded it up but he did pass Edwards & Elias to take that 5th well deserved position. I honestly don't believe he'll do much better than that because it appears that he rode with his heart in his hand and it wasn't the bike & him finally meshing together but... I'll take what I can get.

I guess we can say that Edwards is Laguna Intolerant? that boy is just bound to be riding good in practices to finish 4th or 5th as his best... he should be be back at WSBK where he really knows how to shine. Besides, someone's got to give Ben a run for his money!

From where I was sitting it wasn't really a snooze fest. I saw a coupla good saves, a coupla crashes, some position swapping high in the order and a valiant performance by some homegrown talent.

How can you call it a snoozefest when you didnt see it?

Who says I didn't it? OK, sure I omitted that but I thought it was a given, how else could I be given my pov? I mean, my boy was there and I saw he was doing good before my p2p.eu client went to the grave so I was able to catch a torrent this morning and watch it at the office... those are the little perks when the boss like racing as well

I call it a snooze fest because when you watch the full 27 or 28 laps with no commercial interruptions, it is exactly that. OK, so there were a couple of saves, passes here and there but c'mon... watching paint dry can get as exciting as these races (sans the couple of laps where there is action happening).

Luckily for us, Dorna is talking about a possible comeback to the 990's, I am just hoping the changes will come sooner rather than later as MotoGP is loosing audience by the minute... by the way, this is not my opinion only

I don't think MotoGP is a snoozefest. If I wanted to watch race vehicles lined up I'd switch to NASCAR. Anybody, at anytime, can throw it away in GP. The finish of this race was not a given. The proof is in my DVR.

Didn't Edwards become the 14th or 15th rider to reach 100 points in GP? I'd gladly take that if I had a GP career.

I hate to say it, but I don't know that Nicky has much more than what he showed at Laguna. Maybe this will be his big turnaround, but I don't hold much hope.

C'mon, compare any of the MotoGP eaces this year with the WSBK races, even those that Spies has just left them to fend for themselves and still, they were more interesting to watch.

I am not complaining (much), but I do feel (as do many others) that the 800cc bikes have ruined the competitiveness of it all. All in All, I just want to see more action, even if it is for 5th position

While that is an accomplishment all on its own, I used to loved watching Edwards fight tooth and nail with Bayliss, Forgarty or anybody else that got in his way... I guess everything changes whether we like it or not though.

Well it looks like their might be some light at the end of the tunnel for Nicky. The race couldn't have been predicited very little passing. A few crashes the pass Lorenzo almost put on Rossi would have been sick.

I respectfully disagree. There have been some real humdingers this year in both series. Neither outweighs the other.

While I prefer WSBK on some levels it isn't necessarily b/c the racing is better.
I like it because it is more abundant (2 per weekend). I also like the principal players (Haga/Spies...........Fabri) more than MotoGP's(Rossi/Stoner/Pedrosa/Lorenszo........Dovi)............hey look at that...........there's more guys in the hunt on any given Sunday in MotoGP than in WSBK.......how'd that happen?

The racing is good in both. MotoGP has the ooh la la factor, while WSBK is the blue collar series. They both rock.

I rest my case.
